A New Gate

One of the reasons I have a fence around the garden is to keep my 95 lb. lab mix from trampling my seedlings and from "watering the plants". Well, of course a fence does no good when there's an open entrance! I headed outside to beat the dropping temperatures this morning to get a gate intalled.
This gate was leftover from disassembling an old, caved in storage space from the previous owners. I simply screwed on small hinges to one side of the gate and secured them to the cattle panel trellis with wire. I screwed on a braided jute handle and am wrapping jute string around a protruding piece of wood to secure the gate when its closed. Super easy and free!
